The New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) was created  and is committed to helping the dairy industry be more transparent, be more successful in its outreach efforts to the public, and be more accountable. Check out our 2016 Annual Report to see what we’ve been up to.

Once upon a time, advocating for the dairy industry could be left to the dairy princess or something done once a year at the county fair. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. With the presence of social media and the Internet today, the public demands full transparency in exchange for their trust in our products and on-farm procedures. While the thought of transparency can be uncomfortable for some, we need to make a valid effort as both an industry and as individual farmers. The need for agricultural advocacy has never been greater and  should be a part of the daily conversation on dairy farms everywhere.

Please take a look at what we accomplished in 2016 and consider joining us as we work together to make a difference in the agriculture industry.
